Can a Heart-Lung pill fight a Parasite's Long-Term damage?

NCT ID NCT07453030

Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term effects of a medication called selexipag for people with a specific type of high blood pressure in the lungs caused by a parasitic infection (schistosomiasis). Researchers will compare the health outcomes of about 30 patients who received selexipag as part of their regular care to similar patients who did not. This is an observational study, meaning it looks at existing medical data and does not change how patients are treated.
