Summary
This study looks at whether a special care plan for urinary catheters still prevents infections and bladder problems 9 years after it was first used. The plan includes a catheter certificate and a nurse-led protocol. Researchers will compare infection and bladder distension rates in 750 hip fracture patients aged 65+ to earlier years.
