NCT ID NCT06893562
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special care plan for urinary catheters still helps prevent infections and bladder problems in older adults with hip fractures, 9 years after it was first put in place. Researchers reviewed medical records of 750 patients aged 65 and older who had hip surgery. The goal is to see if the improvements seen in the first few years lasted over time, which could guide future hospital policies.
