Tracking artificial ankles for years after surgery
NCT ID NCT03247023
Summary
This study aimed to track the long-term performance and safety of the Cadence Total Ankle System, an artificial ankle joint, in patients with severe arthritis. It followed 61 patients who received the implant to see how well it held up over time and how it affected their pain, mobility, and quality of life. The study was terminated, meaning it ended earlier than planned.
