Tracking artificial ankles for years after surgery

NCT ID NCT03247023

Summary

This study followed patients who received a Cadence artificial ankle replacement to see how well the implant held up over time and how patients felt. It included 61 people with severe ankle arthritis from wear-and-tear, injury, or conditions like rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers tracked whether the implant needed replacement, measured ankle movement, and asked patients about pain and daily function for years after surgery.
