New pill aims to tame lingering COVID misery
NCT ID NCT06437223
Summary
This study tested whether a daily oral medication called Xiflam could safely reduce the wide-ranging symptoms of Long COVID, such as fatigue, brain fog, and inflammation. Sixteen people who had been sick with Long COVID for at least 12 weeks took either Xiflam or a placebo pill once a day for three months. Researchers measured changes in symptom severity and blood markers to see if the treatment helped.
