Pill tested to tame lingering COVID misery

NCT ID NCT06437223

Summary

This small, completed study tested whether a daily pill called Xiflam could safely reduce the many symptoms of Long COVID. Sixteen people who had persistent health problems for at least 12 weeks after a COVID-19 infection took either Xiflam or a placebo pill for 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if the drug helped ease symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and body aches, which patients reported on a severity scale.
