New cancer drug enters first human trials

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called LM-168, both alone and combined with an existing immunotherapy (toripalimab), in people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The first phase aims to find safe dose levels, while the second phase will look for early signs that the treatment can shrink tumors. The study will enroll 87 adults whose cancer has progressed despite available therapies.
