New cancer drug enters first human trials for Tough-to-Treat tumors

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called LM-168, both alone and combined with an existing immunotherapy drug (toripalimab), in people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The first phase checks for safety and determines the right dose, while the second phase looks for early signs that the treatment can shrink tumors. The study is enrolling 87 adults whose cancer has progressed despite available therapies.
