First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether social and economic difficulties affect how early breast cancer is found. Researchers compared 684 women with breast cancer, grouping them by their social situation and cancer stage at diagnosis. The goal was to see if those facing hardship are more likely to be diagnosed at a later, harder-to-treat stage.
