NCT ID NCT04668872

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how radiation from a procedure called Y90 radioembolization damages liver tumors that have spread from colon or rectal cancer. Researchers will take small tissue samples (biopsies) from the tumors after treatment to see how much cell death occurs. The goal is to improve how doctors plan and deliver this radiation therapy in the future. About 80 adults with liver metastases that cannot be surgically removed will take part.
