Radical transplant trial offers hope for incurable bile duct cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether liver transplantation can help people with advanced bile duct cancer that cannot be surgically removed. After receiving standard chemotherapy, 50 carefully selected patients will receive a liver transplant. Researchers will compare survival and quality of life to similar patients who only received chemotherapy, and look for markers that predict who benefits most.
