Radical transplant trial offers hope for incurable bile duct cancer
NCT ID NCT06125769
Summary
This study is testing whether liver transplantation can help people with advanced bile duct cancer that cannot be surgically removed. After receiving standard chemotherapy, selected patients will receive a liver transplant to see if this improves survival and quality of life compared to chemotherapy alone. Researchers will also look for markers that predict which patients benefit most from this aggressive approach.
