First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This pilot study tested a precise type of radiation called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in 20 adults with liver cancer that could not be removed by surgery. The goal was to see if this treatment is safe and to measure how well it controls the cancer. The approach aims to deliver high-dose radiation directly to the tumor while sparing healthy tissue.
