Summary

This study tested a precise type of radiation, called stereotactic body radiation therapy, in 20 adults with liver cancer that could not be surgically removed. The goal was to see if this treatment could safely target the tumor while sparing healthy tissue. The study measured severe side effects and how long patients lived without dying from their cancer.
