First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked back at medical records of 490 patients with liver cirrhosis who also had signs of a liver-kidney syndrome. Researchers compared how well patients with and without chronic kidney disease responded to standard treatment with terlipressin and albumin. The goal was to understand if having pre-existing kidney disease changes treatment outcomes.
