Cheaper scan for fatty liver disease? new study puts ultrasound to the test
NCT ID NCT07192159
Summary
This study is testing a new type of ultrasound scan, called DeepUSFF, to see if it can accurately measure fat in the liver. Researchers will compare the results from this new ultrasound to the results from a more expensive and less available MRI scan, which is currently a top method. The goal is to see if this simpler, cheaper test could be a good alternative for diagnosing and monitoring fatty liver disease.
