Summary
This study aims to understand if microscopic parts of a parasitic infection remain in liver tissue after surgery to remove cysts. Researchers will examine tissue samples from 100 patients undergoing surgery for liver echinococcosis. The goal is to see if these remnants are present and if they relate to the infection coming back after surgery.
