New combo targets liver tumors in hard-to-treat colorectal cancer

Summary
This study tests whether giving a strong chemotherapy directly to the liver, followed by standard cancer drugs, works better than the standard drugs alone for people with colorectal cancer that has spread mainly to the liver and is no longer responding to other treatments. About 90 participants will receive either the liver-directed therapy plus standard treatment or standard treatment alone. The goal is to see if the liver-directed approach can slow or stop tumor growth in the liver.
