First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at why people with severe liver disease (cirrhosis) who are in the intensive care unit (ICU) are at risk for a serious fungal lung infection called invasive pulmonary aspergillosis. Researchers will study 450 patients to find out how common this infection is, what puts them at risk, and how to diagnose it earlier. The goal is to help doctors start the right treatment faster and improve patient outcomes.
