Computer helps doctors Fine-Tune blood pressure drugs for liver patients
NCT ID NCT07397481
Summary
This study tested whether using a computer program to predict medication doses could help treat high blood pressure more safely in people who also have liver cirrhosis. Researchers gave 40 patients with both conditions either nebivolol or carvedilol at doses suggested by the computer model. They monitored patients' blood pressure, liver health, and side effects over three months to see if this approach worked better than standard dosing.
