New combo therapy aims to shrink liver tumors without surgery

Summary

This study tests a treatment for liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It combines tiny drug-coated beads placed into the liver's blood vessels with a targeted pill called Donafenib. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors and help patients live longer without the cancer growing. About 118 adults with unresectable liver cancer will take part.
