First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether liver surgery after a combination of two drugs (atezolizumab and bevacizumab) can help people with liver cancer that has spread into a major vein. About 501 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either surgery plus the drugs or the drugs alone. The goal is to see if adding surgery delays cancer progression or improves survival.
