First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special radioactive tracer called 68Ga-PSMA, used with PET/MRI or PET/CT scans, can find liver cancer earlier and more accurately than standard scans. Researchers enrolled 52 people with liver cancer to compare the new imaging method with usual care. The goal was to see if this approach could improve diagnosis and help doctors better plan treatment.
