Summary
This study tested a new drug, liposomal annamycin, combined with a standard chemotherapy (cytarabine) in 22 adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The goal was to find the safest dose and see if the combination can control the disease. Participants had either newly diagnosed or relapsed AML. The study is complete, and results will help guide future treatment options.
