New drug duo targets Tough-to-Treat fat tissue cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether combining two drugs, mirdametinib and palbociclib, can help control advanced liposarcoma, a type of cancer that starts in fat tissue. Researchers will first find the safest dose of the combination, then see if it can keep the cancer from growing for at least 18 weeks in 54 adults with advanced disease that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to find a new treatment option for people who have run out of other choices.
