Summary
This study tested a radioactive oil called Lipiocis given directly into the liver's blood supply. The goal was to see if it could prevent liver cancer from returning in 73 patients with cirrhosis who had already had their tumors removed or destroyed. The treatment aims to reduce the high chance of cancer coming back within two years.
