NCT ID NCT07313774
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug, linaprazan glurate, to see if it can keep the esophagus healed in people with GERD-related erosive esophagitis better than the standard treatment lansoprazole. About 1050 adults who have already healed their esophagitis will take either high or low dose linaprazan glurate or lansoprazole daily for up to 52 weeks. Researchers will check healing with a camera down the throat and track heartburn symptoms and side effects.
