Brain cancer trial aims to zap tumors, spare healthy tissue

NCT ID NCT07368283

Summary

This study is testing whether using a smaller radiation field after brain cancer surgery can control the tumor just as well as standard treatment while causing fewer side effects. It will involve 79 adults with glioblastoma who have recently had surgery. Participants will receive focused radiation to a smaller area around the tumor site, along with standard chemotherapy, and will be closely monitored for tumor control and brain function.
