Targeted radiation aims to zap brain tumor, spare healthy tissue

NCT ID NCT07368283

Summary

This study is testing a more focused radiation treatment for adults with glioblastoma, a serious brain cancer, after they have had surgery. The goal is to see if precisely targeting a smaller area around the tumor site is as effective at controlling the cancer as standard radiation, but with fewer side effects on healthy brain tissue. Researchers will closely monitor if the cancer returns, survival rates, and the patient's thinking skills and quality of life.
