Could a natural compound boost stomach bug treatment?
NCT ID NCT07246681
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a compound called hydrolyzed lignin to the standard antibiotic treatment helps clear H. pylori stomach infections more effectively. It involves 70 adults with a first-time H. pylori infection who will take either lignin or a placebo alongside their standard two-week antibiotic course. Researchers will check if the infection is gone after treatment and monitor for any side effects.
