Could a natural compound boost stomach bug cure rates?
NCT ID NCT07246681
Summary
This study is testing if adding a substance called hydrolyzed lignin to the standard antibiotic treatment helps cure H. pylori stomach infections more effectively. It will also check if lignin reduces the side effects of the standard therapy. About 70 adults with a first-time H. pylori infection will take either lignin or a placebo along with their standard treatment for two weeks.
