Light therapy targets skin cancer lesions
NCT ID NCT05872854
Summary
This study tested a new treatment for early-stage mycosis fungoides, a type of skin lymphoma. Ten patients applied a special ointment to their skin lesions, which was then activated by visible light twice a week for up to a year. The goal was to see if this light-activated treatment could reduce the size and severity of the skin lesions and improve symptoms like itching.
