Summary
This study tested a light-based treatment called photoneuromodulation for the negative symptoms of schizophrenia (like lack of motivation or social withdrawal). Thirty adults who had not responded to other treatments received either real or sham light therapy, then switched groups. The goal was to see if the light treatment could improve symptoms and brain chemistry.
