Shining a light on memory loss: can brain light therapy help?
NCT ID NCT07287527
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive light therapy, aimed at the brain, can help improve memory and thinking skills in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Participants will receive either the real light therapy or a sham (fake) treatment, combined with memory training exercises, over eight sessions. Researchers will use brain scans and memory tests to see if the therapy improves brain function and cognitive performance.
