NCT ID NCT05807178

First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special lighting program can help restore normal day-night rhythms in ICU patients who are confused or delirious. Forty adults in the ICU will receive either the dynamic light therapy or standard hospital lighting. Researchers will measure changes in melatonin, clock genes, and other body chemicals to see if the light helps reset their internal clocks.
