Summary
This study tested a drug called ligelizumab in 49 teens aged 12 to 18 with chronic spontaneous urticaria (long-lasting hives with no clear trigger). The goal was to see if adding ligelizumab to standard antihistamines could reduce itching and welts better than a placebo. Participants received injections and tracked their symptoms weekly. The trial was completed and focused on safety and symptom improvement.
