Immune cell attack: new hope for tough melanoma?

NCT ID NCT07288203

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental therapy called lifileucel, made from a patient's own immune cells (tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes), for advanced melanoma that has not responded to standard treatments. About 100 adults with unresectable or metastatic melanoma will receive this one-time cell infusion. The goal is to see if it can shrink tumors and control the disease.
