First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 6-month lifestyle program or the drug metformin is better for helping mothers lose weight after having a baby with gestational diabetes. About 60 women who are 3 to 12 months postpartum will track their diet and activity, attend online group sessions, and may be randomly assigned to get extra support like free groceries or metformin. The goal is to find the most effective way to improve health after gestational diabetes.
