First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether a Mediterranean diet and regular walking can improve memory and thinking in adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 45 participants aged 18-42 will be split into three groups: general health advice, a structured Mediterranean diet, or the diet plus a walking program. Over six months, researchers will measure changes in cognitive test scores, liver stiffness, and blood markers of inflammation.
