Summary

This completed study from Erasmus Medical Center tested whether personalized risk profiling (including genetic testing) and coaching motivate people with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) to change their lifestyle. 150 participants received standard lifestyle advice plus dietary supplements, and some also got personalized risk profiles or coaching. The goal was to see if these strategies improve lifestyle scores measured by questionnaires.
