First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a healthy lifestyle can help thinking skills and liver health in adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 45 people aged 18-42 will be placed into one of three groups for six months: general health advice, a Mediterranean diet, or the same diet plus a walking program. Researchers will measure changes in memory, reasoning, liver stiffness, and blood markers of inflammation and hormones.
