First seen Jun 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a 10-session online therapy designed for sexual minority women who drink heavily and have anxiety or depression. The therapy is LGBTQ-affirmative, meaning it addresses unique stressors faced by this group. Researchers will compare it to standard care to see if it reduces heavy drinking and improves mental health. About 274 women from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania will participate.
