First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at how exercise and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables affect the heart and metabolic health of teenagers with obesity. About 120 teens aged 13-17 will be placed into one of four groups: standard care, exercise only, diet only, or both exercise and diet. Over 12 weeks, researchers will measure changes in blood fats, blood sugar, blood pressure, body fat, and fitness to see which approach works best.
