Fertility study tests simpler drug for womb prep, aims for more live births
NCT ID NCT06372119
Summary
This study is comparing two different drug strategies to prepare the lining of the womb (endometrium) for a frozen embryo transfer in women with irregular menstrual cycles. Researchers want to see if using a drug called letrozole, which stimulates the body's own ovulation, leads to more live births than the standard hormone replacement therapy. About 790 women will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two preparation methods.
