Fertility study tests simpler drug for womb prep, aims for healthier pregnancies
NCT ID NCT06372119
Summary
This study is testing which of two methods is better for preparing the womb lining before a frozen embryo transfer in women with irregular menstrual cycles. About 790 women will be randomly assigned to receive either a short course of the drug letrozole or a longer course of standard hormone replacement therapy. The main goal is to see if the letrozole method results in more live births and potentially fewer pregnancy complications.
