New vaccine aims to train immune system against HPV cancers

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a new vaccine called Lenti-HPV-07 in 72 people with HPV-related throat or cervical cancer. The vaccine is designed to teach the body's immune system to attack cancer cells caused by HPV. The study checks if the vaccine is safe and whether it triggers a strong immune response. Participants are followed for up to one year after treatment.
