First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested whether the drug Lemborexant helps people with delayed sleep phase syndrome (a condition where your natural sleep time is much later than desired) fall asleep faster. 71 adults took either the drug or a placebo nightly for up to 2 years. The main goal was to see if it reduced the time from lying down to falling asleep, tracked with sleep logs and a wrist monitor.
