First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether daily leg heat therapy can improve exercise ability in people with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Participants will wear special trousers that circulate warm water for 90 minutes each day. The goal is to see if this simple home treatment helps them walk longer on a treadmill. The study involves 90 adults with HFpEF and compares the heat therapy to a sham treatment.
