First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether 3 months of intensive leg exercise can improve walking and daily function in young children with spastic diplegia caused by premature birth. About 60 children who can stand with some support will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or standard physical therapy. The goal is to see if the extra leg work leads to better movement and quality of life.
